About Us

Welcome to Aylesbury Performing Arts Centre. We are an exciting school with classes held at Sir Henry Floyd Grammar School.  We offer lessons from 2.5 years upwards in Ballet, Modern, Tap, Jazz, Commercial Jazz, Contemporary, Limbering, Body Conditioning, Acro, Musical Theatre and Singing. We cater for EVERYONE, whether it be a child that wants to take one Ballet class a week for fun to the students who see this as a career choice, the Aylesbury Performing Arts Centre can help make it happen. We follow the ISTD syllabus and encourage students to take exams. We take part in local competitions and produce school shows at the Aylesbury Waterside Theatre as well as opportunities to perform at local events. APAC students have been selected to represent TEAM ENGLAND in the Dance World Cup finals, have qualified for the finals of the ALL England dance competition and in the finals of Dance Master. We offer excellent value for money fee packages, with classes working out as little as £3.50 per lesson. We believe children benefit from a varied curriculum so the more lessons children take the cheaper it is.

The school is run by Miss Katie Ford and Miss Lyndsay Aldred. They have both been teaching for over 15 years and hold their teaching qualifications with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dance. They share a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the performing arts. They have had many students go on to vocational colleges to continue their training at 18+ such as Urdang, Performers, Laine, Guildford School of Acting and Bird College to name a few, with many of them embarking on professional careers in performing and teaching.

Katie and Lyndsay share the same vision for APAC and are committed to making it THE place to train in Aylesbury with a variety of inspiring classes on offer and a happy atmosphere where children can have fun whilst fulfilling their potential.

We are pleased to welcome you to AYLESBURY PERFORMING ARTS CENTRE, an exciting future awaits…………..
